Kali ini, BNI memberi apresiasi kepada pembalap Sean Gelael yang sukses meraih peringkat runner up dalam 8 Hours of Bahrain bersama Tim WRT.
Corporate Secretary BNI Okki Rushartomo mengatakan bahwa perseroan bangga atas prestasi yang diraih oleh Sean Gelael. Perseroan berharap lebih banyak lagi anak muda berbakat Indonesia mencetak prestasi go global ke depannya.
“Kita ketahui bahwa kejuaraan ini merupakan kejuaraan dengan level yang tinggi di dunia dan prestasi yang didapatkan oleh Sean merupakan hal yang luar biasa,” kata Okki.

Adapun Sean berpasangan dengan Ferdinan Habsburgh dan Robin Frinjs, mengendarai mobil WRT 31. Mereka pun nyaris tampil sebagai juara pertama.
Sayang, mobilnya mengalami masalah menjelang finis. Tim WRT yang juga menurunkan mobil lain bernomor 41 keluar sebagai juara pertama dan kedua. Mobil nomor 41 bahkan menjadi juara umum kelas LMP2.
Sean pun tetap merasa puas atas prestasi yang telah dia raih bersama dengan timnya. “Idealnya memang kami menang dan WRT 41 finis di belakang kami namun mereka jadi juara LMP2. Tapi itulah balapan. Tetap bangga dengan hasil ini,” ujar Sean.
