URBANCITY.CO.ID – PT Pertamina (Persero) boleh dibilang paling siap mengembangkan bisnis bahan bakar kendaraan bermotor di Indonesia dari hulu ke hilir.
Hal itu dibuktikan dengan groundbreaking pembangunan hydrogen refueling station (HRS) di SPBU Daan Mogot, Jakarta Barat, Rabu, 17 Januari 2024.
Dalam membangun HRS guna mengembangkan ekosistem hidrogen sebagai bahan bakar kendaraan di Indonesia, Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (Pertamina NRE) berkolaborasi dengan perusahaan otomotif asal Jepang, Toyota.
Keduanya sepakat, dalam membangun ekosistem tersebut tidak hanya penting menyiapkan infrastrukturnya melainkan juga kerja sama dengan konsumen untuk memastikan tingkat permintaan.

Kolaborasi kedua entitas tersebut tertuang dalam Joint Development Agreement tentang pengembangan ekosistem transportasi berbasis hidrogen.
Kerjasama tersebut dilakukan oleh Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pertamina NRE Dannif Danusaputro dan President Director Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) Nandi Julyanto.
Hadir dalam acara itu, Komisaris Utama PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama dan Direktur Utama PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati.
Dalam sambutannya, Basuki menegaskan Pertamina harus jadi yang terdepan dalam melakukan inovasi dan jika ingin berbisnis energi bersh, jangan jadi followers.
“Saya harap kerjasama ini terus berlanjut antara Pertamina dan Toyota, agar ekosistem hidrogen ini terus berkembang di Indonesia,” imbuh Basuki.
