URBANCITY.CO.ID – Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kemenkominfo) terus berupaya membangun dialog dan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam pembangunan IKN lewat seminar berbentuk Temu Influencer dengan tema “Menengok Smart City Ibu Kota Nusantara” di Surabaya, Jawa Timur.
Direktur Jenderal Informasi dan Komunikasi Publik yang diwakili oleh Direktur Informasi dan Komunikasi Perekonomian dan Maritim, Septriana Tangkary, menjelaskan bahwa pembangunan IKN saat ini menunjukkan kebesaran bangsa Indonesia lewat kehadiran kota yang modern dan berstandar internasional.
“Selain itu, rencana pemindahan IKN merupakan proses percepatan pembangunan, pemerataan, dan pemberdayaan kawasan Indonesia Timur. Penetapan IKN diharapkan dapat menjadi katalis untuk menumbuhkan pusat-pusat ekonomi baru di Pulau Kalimantan dan Wilayah Indonesia Timur secara umum,” jelas Septriana dalam keterangan resmi, Rabu, 6 Desember 2023.
Pembangunan IKN masih terus mendapatkan perhatian publik. Septriana pada sambutannya turut menyampaikan bahwa acara Temu Influencer ini juga menjadi sarana dalam memberi informasi yang benar dan jelas kepada masyarakat.

“IKN ini adalah mimpi bersama bangsa Indonesia. Kami ingin seluruh masyarakat Indonesia mendapatkan informasi yang positif dan jelas soal IKN dan terhindar dari berita hoaks,” tambahnya.
Kepala Biro SDM & Humas Otorita Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN), Firmananur, yang menjadi narasumber pada kesempatan tersebut menyampaikan bahwa proses pembangunan IKN akan berlangsung dalam lima tahap, hingga di tahun 2045.
