“Upaya PLN IP ini dilakukan guna turut menurunkan emisi dari sektor industri, sehingga para pelaku industri dapat lebih fokus ke bisnisnya karena PLN IP yang siapkan listriknya,” papar Edwin.
Karena keberhasilan mengendalikan emisi di seluruh pembangkit, Pembangkit PLN Indonesia Power penerima proper emas dari Kementerian LHK yang merupakan penghargaan tertinggi dalam manajemen pengelolaan lingkungan dari tahun ke tahun.
Seperti pada 2022, ada 15 penghargaan proper emas diantaranya PLTU yang berada di sekitar Jakarta, yaitu PLTU Suralaya 1-7, PLTU Banten 1 Suralaya, PLTU Lontar dan PLTU Pelabuhan Ratu. “Berbagai upaya agresif telah dan terus kami lakukan untuk menjaga lingkungan dalam operasional kami.
“Kami menargetkan program transisi energi tak hanya program semata namun justru sudah lebih dulu menghasilkan energi bersih dan meminimalisir polusi udara,” tutup Edwin.
