Direktur Distribusi PLN Adi Priyanto mengatakan, PLN memastikan keandalan listrik untuk acara tersebut di mana pasokan ditopang oleh sistem kelistrikan Biak yang memiliki kapasitas pembangkit memadai, demi memastikan mengamankan pasokan listrik Sail Teluk Cenderawasih 2023.
Dengan kapasitas sebesar 36,39 KW dan beban puncak di angka 16,7 KW, maka masih tersedia cadangan daya sebesar 19,69 KW.
“Alhamdulillah pasokan listrik PLN terbukti andal, sehingga acara puncak bisa berlangsung tanpa kendala. Dengan menggunakan serta memaksimalkan skema pengamanan berlapis ( adaptive defense scheme), acara berlangsung dengan listrik tanpa kedip,” ungkap Adi.
General Manager PLN Unit Induk Wilayah Papua dan Papua Barat, Budiono menyampaikan pihaknya telah siap siaga 24 jam untuk melakukan pengamanan pada 12 lokasi yang masuk dalam rangkaian acara.
“Kami mengupayakan titik yang kritikal tidak boleh kedip, terutama untuk acara pembukaan, acara puncak dan penutupan. Terima kasih atas kerja keras seluruh pejuang kelistrikan dan juga para stakeholder yang terlibat,” cetus Budiono.
Hal itu dilakukan untuk memastikan keandalan suplai, unitnya juga menyiapkan peralatan pendukung berupa 3 Unit Gardu Bergerak (UGB), 3 Uninteruptible Power Supply (UPS), 9 unit genset serta sebuah Unit Kabel dan Kubikel Bergerak (UKKB).
