URBANCITY.CO.ID – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) melalui anak usahanya Telkomsat akan meluncurkan satelit dengan teknologi High Throughput Satellite (HTS), bernama Merah Putih 2, pada 21 Februari 2024, pekan depan.
Satelit tersebut rencananya akan diluncurkan pada 20 Februari 2024 waktu Florida. Satelit dengan teknologi HTS ini menjadi satelit ke-11 milik Telkom. Nantinya akan menempati slot orbit 113 derajat Bujur Timur (113 BT).
