Penangkapan RH dilakukan Selasa 19 September 2023 di Pekanbaru, Riau oleh Penyidik OJK dibantu Penyidik Polda Bengkulu dan Polda Riau.
Sebelumnya, pada 6 April 2022 Departemen Penyidikan Sekor Jasa Keuangan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (DPJK) menerima pelimpahan perkara CV Duta Asuransi Indonesia (CV DAI) dari Kepala Eksekutif Pengawas IKNB.

Perkara yang dilimpahkan terkait adanya indikasi Dugaan Tindak Pidana Perasuransian yang terjadi di CV DAI pada tahun 2019 sampai dengan 2020, dengan cara menjalankan kegiatan Usaha Pialang Asuransi tanpa izin (pasal 73 ayat 2), dengan ancaman penjara paling lama 10 tahun dan/atau melakukan pemalsuan atas dokumen Perusahaan Asuransi (pasal 78) dengan ancaman penjara paling lama 6 tahun sebagaimana diatur dalam Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 40 Tahun 2014 tentang Perasuransian.
Menindaklanjuti pelimpahan perkara tersebut DPJK menerbitkan tiga SPRINDIK dengan tersangka Sdr. MAW (General Manager), Sdr. RH (Agen Asuransi dan marketing freelance), dan Sdr. BN (Agen Asuransi dan marketing freelance). Pada 22 November 2022 Kejaksaan Agung Republik Indonesia telah menyatakan berkas perkara lengkap (P-21) atas ketiga perkara tersebut.
