URBANCITY.CO.ID – Penjabat (Pj.) Gubernur DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono mengapresiasi hasil penataan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) Kalijodo. Panataan ulang ini sebagai upaya melanjutkan komitmen dalam menambah RTH di Ibu kota.
“Hari ini, kita sama-sama melihat hasil perbaikan RTH Kalijodo yang semakin baik dan semakin indah setelah direvitalisasi pada tiga bulan yang lalu. Kita sudah cek semua, di mana ada beberapa struktur bangunan yang harus disempurnakan dan diperkuat,” ujar Pj. Gubernur Heru saat saat tinjauannya bersama Sekda Joko Agus Setyono beserta jajaran pada Festival Kalijodo di Penjaringan, Jakarta Utara, Sabtu, 16 September 2023.
Heru berharap, RTH ini bisa dimanfaatkan oleh semua komunitas yang ada di Jakarta. “Seperti yang kita lihat hari ini, komunitas sepeda BMX untuk skateboard juga sudah memanfaatkannya dengan baik,” ujar Pj. Gubernur Heru.

Pada kesempatan tersebut, Pj. Gubernur Heru menyaksikan festival perlombaan adu tangkas antar warga, di mana mereka bermain skateboard dan sepeda BMX di area Skate Park di kawasan RTH.
Selain itu, Pj. Gubernur Heru juga mengatakan, komitmen penambahan kawasan hijau ini terus dilakukan melalui penataan kawasan di setiap kelurahan, serta didukung melalui konsistensi penanaman pohon setiap minggunya.
“Kami akan terus berupaya untuk menambah ruang terbuka hijau di Jakarta. Dinas Pertamanan dan Hutan Kota DKI Jakarta juga masih banyak memiliki ruang terbuka yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai RTH. Beberapa di antaranya akan segera dibangun taman yaitu di wilayah Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Timur, dan Jakarta Barat,” imbuh Pj. Gubernur Heru.
