Sikap proaktif tersebut dilakukan BNI guna mendukung program pemerintah dalam mewujudkan sistem transportasi yang terintegrasi tingkat nasional.
Direktur Digital & Integrated Transaction Banking BNI Corina Leyla Karnalies mengapresiasi KCIC yang telah memberikan kesempatan kepada perseroan untuk menjadi bagian dalam menciptakan moda transportasi terintegrasi bagi masyarakat.
“Kami yakin infrastruktur pembayaran yang kami miliki akan semakin membantu upaya pemerintah untuk mewujudkan sistem transportasi yang terintegrasi tingkat nasional yang berdampak positif pada pengurangan kemacetan dan polusi,” katanya, Selasa (17/10/2023).
Corina menyebutkan, dalam peresmian promo dan penjualan tiket Kereta Cepat Whoosh melalui aplikasi mobile yang dilakukan di Stasiun Halim, KCIC juga memberikan promo tiket seharga Rp150.000 untuk satu kali perjalanan dengan rute Halim-Padalarang, Halim-Tegalluar, dan sebaliknya. Promo tersebut berlaku untuk keberangkatan 18 Oktober hingga 30 November 2023.
Diharapkan melalui beragam promo tiket Kereta Cepat Whoosh yang dihadirkan dapat menarik minat masyarakat untuk menggunakan transportasi publik berbasis rel khususnya mengalihkan pengguna jalan raya yang beraktivitas di jalur Jakarta-Bandung agar menggunakan kereta cepat.
Adapun, bagi penumpang yang sebelumnya telah membeli tiket Kereta Cepat Whoosh keberangkatan 18-23 Oktober juga akan mendapatkan tiket gratis sesuai jumlah yang telah dibeli sebelumnya.
