URBANCITY.CO.ID – PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) terus mendorong digitalisasi pembayaran melalui Quick Respons Code Indonesia Standar (QRIS) oleh para pedagang di Pasar Gede, Solo (Jawa Tengah), guna mendukung inklusivitas perbankan syariah.
Menurut SEVP Digital Banking BSI Saut Parulian Saragih, insiatif digital yang diterapkan BSI di Pasar Gede bertujuan memberikan kemudahan akses ke layanan perbankan syariah, sekaligus menciptakan inklusi keuangan sehingga layanan syariah bisa dinikmati masyarakat lebih luas.
Pihaknya terus menjadikan platform digital sebagai pintu masuk transaksi di BSI. Jadi, nasabah dapat dengan mudah mengakses BSI di manapun dan kapanpun dengan aman.
“Adanya digitalisasi dalam transaksi pembayaran di lingkungan Pasar Gede yang beragam, diharapkan meningkatkan literasi dan inklusi keuangan syariah kepada masyarakat, sehingga kesan inklusivitas BSI sebagai beyond sharia banking lebih terasa,” kata Saut seperti dikutip keterangan tertulis BSI, Senin (15/1/2024).
Inisiatif digitalisasi itu tidak hanya membawa pasar ke era baru teknologi keuangan, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pelestarian budaya dan sejarah di china town Surakarta.

Dengan makin tumbuhnya peran Pasar Gede Solo sebagai pusat kegiatan ekonomi dan budaya, langkah BSI diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif yang berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat setempat.
Pasar Gede Solo dikenal sebagai simbol harmoni kehidupan sosial budaya di Surakarta.
