URBANCITY.CO.ID – Penetapan Budi Said, seorang pengusaha properti asal Surabaya, sebagai tersangka dalam kasus rekayasa jual beli emas yang terkait dengan penipuan Antam oleh Kejaksaan Agung RI (Kejagung) diapresiasi.
Langkah tegas yang diambil oleh Kejagung dalam menetapkan Budi Said sebagai tersangka dan melakukan penahanan dinilai merupakan langkah positif dalam menegakkan keadilan dan penyelamatan uang negara.
Staf Khusus III Menteri BUMN Arya Mahendra Sinulingga memberikan apresiasi terhadap upaya hukum yang dilakukan oleh Kejagung. Menurut dia, tindakan ini menunjukkan komitmen pemerintah dalam memberantas praktik-praktik tidak sah yang merugikan perusahaan BUMN.
“Saya mengapresiasi tindakan cepat dan tegas Kejaksaan Agung dalam menindaklanjuti kasus penipuan emas Antam. Dari awal saya juga sudah curiga dan merasa aneh bahwa ada yang tidak benar dalam kasus pembelian emas oleh Busi Said ke Antam, dan terbukti kan sekarang!” ujar Arya.
Lebih lanjut, dia menyatakan bahwa langkah tegas yang diambil oleh Kejagung dinilai tepat dalam upaya menegakkan keadilan dan memberantas tindak kejahatan yang dapat merugikan keuangan negara.
“Saya percaya bahwa Kejaksaan Agung telah melakukan investigasi dengan teliti dan memiliki alat bukti yang kuat untuk menetapkan status tersangka terhadap Budi Said. Kami juga mengapresiasi Masyarakat yang telah menaruh perhatian besar atas penegakan hukum yang berjalan di Kejaksaan Agung agar kasus ini tidak membuat kerugian keuangan negara,” ucapnya.
Sebelumnya, Kejaksaan Agung RI menetapkan Budi Said sebagai tersangka terkait kasus rekayasa jual beli emas Antam. Dalam konferensi pers yang diadakan di Kejagung pada hari Kamis (18/1/2024), Direktur Penyidikan Jaksa Agung Muda Tindak Pidana Khusus (Dirdik Jampidsus) Kejagung Kuntadi juga mengumumkan bahwa Budi Said akan ditahan selama 20 hari ke depan di rutan Salemba cabang Kejagung.
