“Rekomendasi dari BPK bukan syarat mutlak kejaksaan menindaklanjuti laporan masyarakat. Kami akan selalu menerima masukan apapun itu apalagi dari DPD RI, demi kepentingan bangsa dan negara,” tukas Jaksa Agung saat menerima BAP DPD RI.
Sementara itu, Senator Sulawesi Barat Iskandar Muda B Lopa menyampaikan bahwa perhitungan kerugian negara yang bersumber APBN mutlak diperiksa oleh BPK RI dan BPKP tetapi dimungkinkan juga penyidik jaksa agung untuk melakukan penyidikan sendiri.
“Apakah ada kerjasama temuan tindak lanjut BPK di daerah dengan kejaksaan dalam hal pengembalian,” ucapnya.
Senada dengan itu, Senator Maluku Mirati Dewaningsih turut mengapresiasi kinerja Kejagung RI, ia menyoroti terkait nota kesepahaman dengan BPK yang mungkin perlu dievaluasi kembali agar sesuai dengan kondisi saat ini. (***)
