Deputi Bidang Pemasaran Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf, Ni Made Ayu Marthini hadir langsung dalam seremoni penerbangan (Inaugural Flight) Vistara rute New Delhi-Denpasar tersebut.
Ia mengatakan, penerbangan ini merupakan kabar baik bagi konektivitas langsung dari India ke Pulau Dewata, semenjak penerbangan rute Mumbai-Denpasar terakhir beroperasi pada 2019 silam.
Selain unggul menempati peringkat kedua kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara di Bali, India juga menempati peringkat enam kunjungan wisman ke Indonesia secara keseluruhan dengan 444.768 kunjungan hingga September 2023.
“Adanya kemudahan konektivitas ini tentunya senantiasa kami dukung secara berkelanjutan, sehingga dapat bertahan dan terus bertambah kedepannya,” pungkas Made.
