URBANCITY.CO.ID – Gaganjeet Bhullar keluar sebagai pemenang setelah mampu tampil dominan di empat putaran BNI Indonesian Masters presented by Tunas Niaga Energi (TNE) 2023.
Adapun total skor yang dia dapat adalah 24 pukulan di bawah par 260 pukulan (24 under 260). Di samping itu, atlet golf kebanggaan tuan rumah Jonathan Wijono mampu menjadi kompetitor terbaik asal Indonesia dengan total skor 9 under 275.
Bhullar merupakan salah satu atlet golf internasional yang tak pernah melewatkan kompetisi BNI Indonesian Masters presented by TNE sejak pertama kali digelar pada 2011.
Perjuangan panjang dari atlet golf India tersebut akhirnya mampu mengantarkannya pada trofi kehormatan tur kelas dunia berstatus International Series, serta hadiah senilai US$270.000.
Bhullar mengatakan setiap pertandingan di BNI Indonesian Masters presented by TNE adalah pengalaman dan pembelajaran yang berharga.
Dia selalu berupaya untuk tampil lebih fokus dan tenang meski kadang tak luput dari kesalahan.
“Tak ada senjata khusus. Setiap tur BNI Indonesian Masters presented by TNE ini tidak mudah. Tapi, pengalaman dari sini jadi pelajaran penting. Saya selalu menjaga kebugaran dengan stretching, mengasah pukulan, dan fokus,” sebut Bhullar.
Bhullar mengapresiasi BNI yang konsisten menjadi sponsor utama untuk tur berkelas internasional ini. Menurutnya, ajang ini baik juga buat atlet golf Indonesia untuk mengembangkan skill dan aura persaingan global.
Dia juga memuji BNI yang konsisten memberi apresiasi tinggi kepada para atlet golf dengan memberikan hadiah total US$1,5 juta atau setara dengan Rp23,5 miliar pada kompetisi tahun ini.
