URBANCIITY.CO.ID – Kementrian Perdagangan memusnahan minuman beralkohol (Minol) dan barang hasil pengawasan post border senilai Rp7 miliar pada Senin, 18 September 2023 di Balai Pengawasan Tertib Niaga (BPTN) Makassar, Kota Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan.
Pada pemusnahan tersebut, Mendag Zulkifli Hasan menyampaikan bahwa memperdagangkan minuman beralkohol tanpa izin akan berdampak sosial kriminal dan praktik impor ilegal akan merugikan negara.
“Terkait praktik impor ilegal ini, sesuai perintah Presiden RI, impor ilegal harus kita berantas karena merugikan negara. Impor ilegal tidak membayar pajak dan merugikan industri dalam negeri. Oleh karena itu, menjadi perhatian pemerintah untuk terus mengadakan pengawasan,” kata Mendag Zulkifli Hasan dikutip dari laman kemedag.go.id, Senin, 18 September 2023.

Mendag Zulkifli Hasan mengungkapkan, pemusnahan tersebut dilakukan sebagai tindak lanjut pelanggaran perizinan yang telah ditemukan pada enam jenis produk. Keenam jenis produk yang dimaksud adalah minuman beralkohol golongan A/B/C, timbangan duduk, timbangan elektronik, pompa air, meter air, dan saus teriyaki.
Menurut Mendag Zulkifli Hasan, BPTN Makassar telah melakukan pengawasan minuman beralkohol terhadap 35 perusahaan minuman beralkohol. Dari hasil pengawasan tersebut, ditemukan 19 pelaku usaha minuman beralkohol melakukan pelanggaran.
