URBANCITY.CO.ID – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) melantik Arsul Sani sebagai Hakim Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK).
Arsul dilantik berdasarkan Keputusan Presiden Republik Indonesia (Keppres) Nomor 102P tahun 2023 tentang Pemberhentian dan Pengangkatan Hakim Konstitusi yang diajukan oleh Mahkamah Agung.
Pelantikan berlangsung di Istana Negara, Jakarta, hari ini, Kamis, 18 Januari 2024.

“Saya bersumpah bahwa saya akan memenuhi kewajiban Hakim Konstitusi dengan sebaik-baiknya dan seadil-adilnya, memegang teguh Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia tahun 1945,” ujar Arsul Sani saat mengucapkan sumpah.
“Dan menjalankan segala peraturan perundang-undangan dengan selurus-lurusnya menurut Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945, serta berbakti kepada nusa dan bangsa,” sambungnya.
Turut hadir dalam acara pelantikan tersebut antara lain Wakil Presiden Ma’ruf Amin, Ketua MKRI Suhartoyo dan hakim konstitusi lainnya, Menko Polhukam Mahfud MD, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, Kapolri Listyo Sigit Prabowo, dan Panglima TNI Agus Subiyanto.

Sebelumnya, Komisi III DPR resmi menyetujui Arsul Sani sebagai hakim MK menggantikan Wahiduddin Adams.
Arsul sendiri telah memastikan mundur dari Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP), anggota Komisi II DPR, dan Wakil Ketua MPR. (***)
