CEO Pertamina NRE Dannif Danusaputro juga mengungkapkan, groundbreaking hydrogen refueling station ini menjadi salah satu milestone dalam membangun ekosistem hidrogen sebagai bahan bakar kendaraan di Indonesia.
Namun tidak kalah penting, dalam menciptakan ekosistem adalah berkolaborasi tidak saja di sisi hulu tapi di sisi hilir.

“Untuk itu di sini kami bekerja sama dengan Toyota yang telah memproduksi fuel cell electric vehicle, Toyota Mirai, yang nantinya akan melakukan pengisian hidrogen di HRS kami. Kami sangat menyambut baik kolaborasi strategis ini,” ungkapnya.
Dannif menambahkan, hadirnya hidrogen sebagai bahan bakar alternatif untuk transportasi akan memperkuat ketahanan energi. Masyarakat pengendara ke depan tidak hanya memiliki pilihan bahan bakar minyak (BBM) dan listrik tapi juga hidrogen sebagai alternatif.
Lantaran itu Pertamina antusias bila semakin banyak penyedia infrastruktur di sektor ini karena akan semakin cepat dan banyak terbangun infrastruktur sehingga membantu mempercepat penciptaan pasar serta terbentuknya ekosistem di Indonesia.
