Prof Toni juga berpesan bahwa tantangan lulusan sarjana saat ini sangat berat. Menurutnya, lulusan perguruan tinggi menyumban sekitar 10 persen angka pengangguran dari jumlah total pengangguran terbuka pada tahun 2022 sebesar 9 juta.
“Salah satu penyebabnya adanya ketidakseusian antara keterampilan yang dimiliki dengan kebutuhan pasar kerja,”ungkapnya.

Senada dengan Kepala LLDikti Wilayah III, Koordinator Kopertais Wilayah I, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A, Ph.D, dalam sambutanya mengatakan bahwa UIC harus dapat memastikan siswanya mendapatkan kurikulum yang relevan dengan kebutuhan pasar kerja.
“Dalam kurikulum harus ada magang, kerja praktek yang akan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa sehingga dapat menjawab kebutuhan pasar,” ujarnya.
Dia juga berpesan agar UIC dapat mengembakan ciri khas universitas agar memiliki keunggulan tersendiri serta meningkatkan kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak.
