Kali ini BNI mendapatkan penghargaan dan dinobatkan sebagai Bank Penggerak Keuangan Inklusif Bagi Penyandang Disabilitas. Penghargaan diberikan oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan pada rangkaian acara puncak Bulan Inklusi Keuangan 2023 di Grand Atrium Pakuwon Mall Yogyakarta, Sabtu (28 Oktober 2023).
Bank milik negara dengan kode saham BBNI itu dinilai mampu memberikan layanan terbaik kepada para UMKM penyandang disabilitas melalui rangkaian pemberdayaan usaha dan dukungan akses pembiayaan.
Corporate Secretary BNI, Okki Rushartomo menyampaikan bahwa keikutsertaan BNI pada BIK 2023 ini merupakan komitmen perseroan untuk mendukung strategi OJK dalam meningkatkan literasi serta inklusi keuangan masyarakat melalui perluasan akses terhadap produk dan layanan keuangan bank. Kegiatan ini juga dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan mengurangi kesenjangan sosial masyarakat.
BIK 2023 mengusung tema “Akses Keuangan Merata, Masyarakat Sejahtera”. Kegiatan ini menjadi momen istimewa bagi BNI untuk berperan aktif memberikan literasi digital kepada masyarakat dan para pelaku UMKM. Harapannya, masyarakat memiliki produk atau layanan digital bank, mengetahui fitur dan benefitnya dan terbiasa untuk menggunakannya (shifting to digital). Kaitannya dengan sektor UMKM, BNI Agen46 hadir untuk menjangkau area yang sulit dijangkau oleh kantor fisik perbankan atau 3T (Terdepan, Terluar, Tertinggal). Keberadaan BNI Agen46 pun menurutnya dapat membantu mempercepat proses inklusi keuangan seperti yang ditargetkan pemerintah selain melalui digitalisasi. “BNI Agen46 akan menjadi entry point masyarakat untuk masuk ke bank, membuka rekening, dan aktif menggunakan rekening dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. BNI Agen46 juga menjadi sarana pertama untuk memasuki dunia digital pertama kali,” jelas Okki.
