URBANCITY.CO.ID – Backlog atau kekurangan pengadaan rumah di Indonesia sudah menurun hampir 3 juta unit. Kalau tahun 2020 menurut Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (SUSENAS) yang diadakan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) backlog rumah tercatat 12,75 juta unit, tahun 2023 sudah menurun menjadi 9,9 juta.
Dengan demikian saat ini tinggal 9,9 juta rumah tangga (Ruta) di Indonesia yang belum memiliki rumah sendiri. Selain itu juga menurun persentase dan jumlah rumah tangga yang tidak memiliki akses terhadap hunian yang layak, dari 29,4 juta pada tahun 2020 menjadi 26,9 juta unit tahun 2023.
“Data Susenas menyebutkan, backlog kepemilikan rumah sudah turun dari 12,75 juta pada tahun 2020 menjadi 9,9 juta unit tahun 2023,” kata Direktur Jenderal Perumahan Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Iwan Suprijanto di Kantor Kementerian PUPR, Jakarta, Senin (15/1/2024), seperti dikutip keterangan tertulis Biro Hukum dan Komunikasi Publik Kementerian PUPR.

Begitu pula, sambung dia, persentase dan jumlah rumah tangga yang tidak memiliki akses terhadap hunian yang layak, menurun pada periode yang sama dari 29,4 juta menjadi 26,9 juta unit.
Menurut Iwan, kunci utama penanganan backlog perumahan adalah kolaborasi seluruh pemangku kepentingan di bidang perumahan.
Mulai dari pemerintah pusat, pemerintah daerah, pengembang real estate, perbankan, masyarakat, sampai entitas bisnis melalui dana tanggung jawab sosialnya.
